Heavenly Armies

Out of the church’s prayer life, God raised a wider movement of unity and revival. In 2003, during those intense prayerful days, the Holy Spirit prompted us to start a fellowship to unite Pentecostal churches for revival and prayer. Thus was born Heavenly Armies—beginning with just seven members in June 2003, who gathered for prayer and started a pastors’ fellowship. Over the past 22 years, we have seen God expand this vision across Karnataka and beyond. We have conducted pastors’ seminars, united leaders across denominations, and responded to natural calamities by mobilizing pastors to help affected communities. We visited sick and struggling pastors, encouraged them, and provided support as much as possible. Whenever churches were under construction, we helped by encouraging pastors to contribute. Through the Heavenly Armies team, we conducted powerful meetings and conventions that strengthened hundreds of pastors. Between 2005 and 2007, we hosted major revival and unity seminars, bringing together 100, 200, and even 500+ pastors from different denominations on one stage. Renowned preachers from around the world ministered, speaking on revival and unity, and God blessed these gatherings mightily.What began with 7 prayer warriors has now grown to 500+ pastors praying around the clock across Karnataka and other states.

What Heavenly Armies has accomplished

• Pastors’ seminars, empowerment meetings, and large conventions drawing hundreds of pastors and many ministers who preached on revival and unity.
• Practical aid during natural calamities, pastoral encouragement, and financial and material support for pastors building churches or in need.
• Breaking denominational barriers: 2005–2007 saw leaders from many denominations on one stage, speaking on unity.
• In 2023 we led a prayer movement across 31 districts, mobilizing pastors for nationwide prayer and outreach.
• Annual conventions focused on reaching the unreached; hundreds of unbelievers have come to faith through these events.

For the past 10 years, we have conducted annual conventions focused on reaching the unreached. By God’s grace, many great servants of God have ministered through our team—including P.G. Vargis, Pr. Kanavachan, Pr. Paul Gopalakrishnan, Pr. Finny Stephen, Pr. Babu Cherian, Dr. Marcelin Morris, Dr. Prathap Singh, Pr. Tijo Thomas, Pr. Tinu George, Pr. Jeril Cherian, Pr. Shajan George, and many others. 

Likewise, Pr. Santhosh, Pr. George, Pr. Joy, Pr. V.T. Babu, Pr. Sunny, Pr. Raju, Pr. Sajikumar, Pr. Stephen, and many others have faithfully stood with us. Our continuing vision: strengthen pastors spiritually and practically, deepen unity across denominations, manifest godly revivals, sustain a 24-hour prayer movement, and carry the gospel to unreached people through conventions, local ministry, and persistent prayer.
